Square galvanised steel ridge bars are square profile steel tubes for greater strength. Square Ridge Poles are designed to span across the centre of a tarpaulin. This creates a centre ridge and prevents the centre of the tarpaulin from sagging. The ends of the square ridge pole have ridge pole high impact nylon bow ends that make it much stronger and gives you more room on your tent pole spigot to put a double guy rope. This ridge bar has 5 pieces 3 are 25mm square tube and 2 are 22mm square tube that slides inside the 25mm tube this makes for a strong well supported joint that are locked together with a t nut. Make sure the t nuts are all facing the ground. We do advise that for any square ridge poles over 15ft you use a centre support pole or ridge bar helper by using one of these on your ridge bar, it takes any sag out of the ridge bar. These two items are sold separately.
